Cancer Center Community Health Needs Assessment
What is a Community Health Needs Assessment?
A Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) is a systematic way for health care providers, public health officials, and community organizations to check in on the wellbeing of those that they serve.
Through the careful collection and analysis of data, the Middlesex Health Cancer Center uses the CHNA process to learn more about why it may be hard for our community members to access cancer prevention, screening, and treatment services. This helps us provide the best possible care for you and identify our community's greatest cancer care needs.
Middlesex Health completes a general CHNA that focuses on all areas of health—not just cancer—every three years. To learn more and see our reports, click here.
