A Message from our Team

Middlesex Health is pleased that we are able to safely schedule cancer screening services such as mammograms and low-dose CT lung cancer screenings.  Likewise, Middlesex Gastroenterology Associates has resumed outpatient elective procedures, including screening colonoscopies, with appropriate precautions.

Early Detection is as Important as Ever

Due to COVID-19, it was necessary to temporarily stop these exams for the safety of our patients and staff.  However, we know that new cancers have likely continued to form and grow during this time. It is important that we catch and treat these cancers without delay.  Cancer treatment is most effective when cancers are detected in the early stages. If you are due or overdue for breast, lung, or colorectal cancer screening, we encourage you to schedule an appointment today.

Keeping You Safe

We recognize that COVID-19 causes stress and anxiety and that you may have concerns about the safety of receiving cancer screening services. Please know this: you can protect yourself from COVID-19 without compromising your cancer screening and/or treatment. The health and safety of our patients and employees are of primary importance.

We will continue to use every available tool to help keep you safe, healthy, and informed. This has not changed.  We have also implemented new safety measures.  Fortunately, with these measures in place, the risk of getting COVID-19 at our facility while undergoing cancer screening examinations is very low.  Click here to learn more about what we are doing to minimize your chances of being exposed to the virus.

Thank You for Trusting Us

Through the efforts of Middlesex Health leadership, we are maintaining a constant focus on managing healthcare for our community beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, including essential cancer screenings.  We value your trust in the care we provide and look forward to serving you.
