About Our Program

The Day Treatment Program offers highly-structured treatment plans for adults and older adults. The goal of these programs is to decrease symptoms and promote recovery. All care—from group therapy to family sessions and medication management—is provided by our team of experts, which includes psychiatrists, APRNs, nurses, and counselors.

We offer five different types of Day Treatment Programs:

What is the PHP?
An intensive five-days-per-week program that runs from 9 am–3 pm, Monday–Friday.

The PHP provides an alternative to inpatient admission. It is also helpful for patients who are making the transition from inpatient care to the community.

What services do patients receive?
Each patient will have access to the care they need while in the PHP. This may include:

  • ongoing psychiatric evaluation
  • medication management
  • group therapy
  • occupational therapy
  • recreational therapy
  • family therapy
  • care management

What is the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
An intensive three-day-per-week program. Patients attend from 9 am–12 pm or 12 pm–3 pm.

What services do patients receive?
Each patient will have access to the care they need while in the IOP. This may include:

  • ongoing psychiatric evaluation
  • group therapy
  • medication management
  • family therapy
  • care management

What is the Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
An intensive three-days-per-week program. Patients attend from 9 am–12 pm or 12 pm–3 pm.

The Dual IOP is for patients who are in treatment and recovery for a mental health condition and substance use disorder.

What services do patients receive?
Each patient will have access to the care they need while in the Dual IOP. This may include:

  • ongoing psychiatric evaluation
  • addictions group therapy
  • group therapy
  • family therapy
  • medication management
  • referral to self-help groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous
  • care management

 

What is the Senior Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
An intensive three-day-per-week program. Patients attend from 9 am–3 pm.

This program is intended for seniors (age 65+) who are in need of mental health support.

What services do patients receive?
Each patient will have access to the care they need while in the IOP. This may include:

  • ongoing psychiatric evaluation
  • occupational therapy
  • recreational therapy
  • medication management
  • family therapy
  • care management

What is the Senior Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)—One Day Track?
An intensive one-day-per-week program. Patients attend from 9 am–3 pm.

This program is for patients who have made progress in the Senior IOP three-day-per-week program and are working to keep up their recovery with extra support.

What services do patients receive?
Each patient will have access to the care they need while in the IOP. This may include:

  • ongoing psychiatric evaluation
  • group therapy
  • occupational therapy
  • medication management
  • family therapy
  • care management

Your Care Team

Patients in the Day Treatment program might see one or more different types of caregivers. Our staff includes psychiatrists and APRNs (medication management), psychiatric nurses, occupational therapists, marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, recreational therapists, clinical social workers, and drug and alcohol counselors.
