Bio
Bruce Kovalenko, M.D., is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. He earned his medical degree at New York University, and then did his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Bridgeport Hospital, part of the Yale University Program. He completed his Vascular and Interventional Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kovalenko is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Society of Interventional Radiology, and the American Medical Association. His specific interests include oncologic intervention, including chemo and radio-embolization, as well as percutaneous ablation of primary and metastatic tumors. He also specializes in the following areas: uterine artery embolization for treatment of uterine fibroid disease, peripheral arterial disease, permanent and temporary dialysis access, treatment of peripheral and pulmonary arteriovenous malformation, and venous access procedures.
