Liz graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and Summa Cum Laude honors in 1997. She began her career learning the treatment of upper body orthopedic injuries as a student at the Middlesex Health Outpatient Center. She then gained knowledge working in a challenging acute care and inpatient rehab setting at The Hospital of Saint Raphael’s in New Haven for over seven years. In addition, she has experience working in short-term rehabilitation and home care settings.
She returned to the outpatient setting for approximately seven years in 2003 where she continued to expand her expertise in treating the upper body. In 2000, Liz began her specialized education in the treatment of Lymphedema. In 2011, she returned to her roots at Middlesex Health and shortly thereafter, was awarded a certification in the treatment of Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy by The Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy. In 2016, Liz successfully became a Certified Hand Therapist as identified by the American Society of Hand Therapists.
