Kimberly Shea, RN, BSN is the Nurse Navigator for the Middlesex Health Center for Continence & Pelvic Health.
Kim is an experienced Registered Nurse who has worked in a range of care settings, including home care, primary care, and assisted living. Most recently, Kim served as a nurse at Middlesex Health Primary Care - East Haddam. There, she worked with patients of all ages, providing clinical and educational support related to wellness, medication management, chronic illness management, and much more.
Kim is a passionate patient advocate who focuses on helping patients navigate today's complex health care system. Her goal is to ensure that each and every person gets the best possible care in the most supportive, efficient way.
As the Center for Continence & Pelvic Health Nurse Navigator, Kim connects patients who face incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and other pelvic health conditions with the physicians and other providers who can meet their needs with discretion, compassion, and clinical excellence. Kim also provides education and support during each patient's diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
