Fiber Art and Quilting to be Displayed at Zahn Community Gallery
On January 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery will hold a reception for its new exhibit, Local Color: Inspired by Science. The exhibit will feature work by members of the Connecticut Region of Studio Art Quilt Associates, an international nonprofit organization that is dedicated to promoting art quilts.
The reception, sponsored by Guilford Savings Bank, will include wine and hors d’oeuvres. It is free and open to the public.
The gallery is located at the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center, 250 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook. The exhibit will be on display January 11 through March 14 during regular business hours.
