Hospital Offers Free Parenting Program

Parents are invited to join a free, ten-week parenting program, entitled “Circle of Security,” to be held on Wednesdays, from September 21 through November 9, 2016, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the Faith Lutheran Church, 300 Washington Street, Middletown.

Circle of Security is designed to help parents recognize, understand and respond to their children’s needs and, as a result, create better relationships.

Childcare and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required as seating is limited. Registration opens on August 24 and closes on September 14. To register and for more information, call Cyndi Perry, Middlesex Hospital Family Advocacy Program, at 860-358-6958.

This program is provided through funding from the Nurturing Families Network, a division of the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood and the Middlesex Hospital Family Advocacy Program.
