Hospital to Host Lecture on New Tools to Detect Breast Cancer
Middlesex Hospital will host a lecture entitled, “New Tools for Detecting Breast Cancer,” on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 5:30 p.m., in the Community Education Center at the Shoreline Medical Center, 250 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook.
Middlesex Hospital has recently acquired new, state-of-the-art technology that provides razor sharp imaging to detect breast cancer. Radiologist Craig Walden, M.D., will discuss this new technology, which includes 3-dimensional mammography and dual-head molecular breast imaging.
