Learn About the Benefits of Occupational Therapy at Clinic Day
Middlesex Hospital’s Occupational Therapy Department will hold an open house on April 18 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in conference room B at the Hospital's Outpatient Center, 534 Saybrook Road in Middletown.
Attend Occupational Therapy Clinic Day and receive a free upper body orthopedic screening. Attendees will also be able to meet staff members, including certified hand therapists, certified lymphedema therapists and pulmonary rehab specialists. Refreshments will be served.
Occupational therapy can help individuals improve their strength and range of motion, decrease inflammation and pain and improve endurance. It can also help people participate better participate in daily activities.
