Middlesex Health Restricts Visitors to One Designated Support Person
Effective immediately, Middlesex Health is restricting visitors to only one support person at all service locations. That person must be designated at the time of registration.
Middlesex Health Further Tightens Its Visitor Policy
Beginning today, Middlesex Health is further tightening its visitor policy as a precaution. This is an effort to help prevent the spread of the flu and COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus.
To date, Middlesex Health has not had a confirmed case of COVID -19.

On March 12, the Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery will hold a reception for its Local Vision V exhibit, “Take a Breath.” This group exhibition will feature artists from Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Middlesex Health Restricts Visitors Due to Flu
Due to a significant increase in the prevalence of the flu, Middlesex Health is now limiting who can visit or accompany patients at its facilities. These restrictions are effective immediately and apply throughout Middlesex Health’s service locations, including, but not limited to, the Middlesex Hospital main campus in Middletown, its two satellite emergency departments in Westbrook and Marlborough and its outpatient surgical center on Saybrook Road in Middletown.
Middlesex Looking for Hospice Volunteers
Middlesex Health’s Hospice Program is looking for volunteers to work in homecare and nursing home settings. Training sessions will be in April.
goPINK Raises More Than $44,000 for Cancer Patients
The goPINK Project, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, raised $44,542 in 2019 to support Middlesex Health Cancer Center patients. This is the most goPINK has ever raised in a single year.
