A COVID-19 Message for Our Patients
To keep our patients, staff and community as safe as possible, we are not currently holding in-person educational events. However, the New Patient Informational Seminar, the first step in our weight loss surgery process, can be viewed in the Virtual Care & Education section of our Center for Medical & Surgical Weight Loss website.

This seminar is a free educational presentation for individuals who are interested in weight loss surgery. We provide a comprehensive review of the surgical options available at the Middlesex Health Center for Medical & Surgical Weight Loss.
Who should attend this seminar?
This seminar is the first step in the weight loss surgery process. We ask that all patients attend. During the seminar, you will receive instructions for next steps (patient registration, setting up a consultation, etc.).
During COVID-19, while this seminar is only available online, we will ask you to answer several questions after you have watched the video. We want to make sure you have all of the information you need to take the next steps in the weight loss surgery process. Our team will provide you with information about how and where you can answer these questions.
Can I bring guests?
Yes! You may bring anyone who will be supporting you through your weight loss journey.

Directions
The Randy Goodwin Conference Center is located on the main floor of Middlesex Hospital. When you enter the hospital through the Lobby, walk towards the back left side of the Lobby, following signs for Patient Registration and the South Elevators. Turn right down the hallway; the conference room is located on the right hand side.
Parking
Middlesex Hospital offers a large, free parking lot that is accessible from Crescent St. or from South Main St.
*Please note that Crescent St. is one-way. You MUST enter Crescent St. from South Main St. You CANNOT turn onto Crescent St. from Main St. Extension, which runs between One MacDonough Place and the Emergency Department.
