Dwight P. Ligham, MD is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician at Advanced Diagnostic Pain Treatment Centers and Middlesex Health.
Dr. Ligham is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. He completed his fellowship in pain management at the Yale University School of Medicine, where he also performed his residency in anesthesiology. Dr. Ligham earned his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Syracuse.
In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Ligham holds a Master of Science in counseling from the State University of New York College.
Dr. Ligham has a special interest in spine pain and different types of neuropathic pain, such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. He is also interested in the relationship between pain, disability and vocational rehabilitation potential. He works with patients to combine information from physical evaluations and medical history to develop realistic vocational goals.
