Training & Expertise

Dr. Summerall is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He completed his residency at Danbury Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. Dr. Summerall earned his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He was among the earliest doctors to earn certification through the Essentials of Minimally Invasive Gynecology exam.
