Middlesex Health provides many opportunities each month for physicians to obtain CME credit. Please visit our CME Portal on eeds to see a list of upcoming conferences, case reviews, Grand Rounds, and lectures.
The CME Department works with the Middlesex Health Department of Nursing Education. Many of our weekly Grand Rounds programs also qualify for Nursing CEUs.
Middlesex Health is accredited by the Massachusetts Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Unless otherwise stated, Middlesex Health designates each of these programs for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Some of these activities have been reviewed by the American Academy of Family Physicians and are acceptable for 1 Prescribed Credit or 1 Elective credit as indicated.
The Department of Justice through the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act requires new or renewing DEA licensees, as of June 27, 2023, to have completed a total of at least eight hours of training on opioid use disorder. The below organizations offer free continuing medical education to satisfy this training requirement.
If you have questions about CME opportunities at Middlesex Health, please contact the Department of Medical Education at CME@midhosp.org.
