Visitor Restrictions Due to Flu
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY - Due to a significant increase in the prevalence of the flu, Middlesex Health is limiting who can visit or accompany patients to its facilities. Restrictions apply to all Middlesex Health locations, including, but not limited to, the Middlesex Hospital campus in Middletown, the Shoreline Medical Center/Emergency Department, the Marlborough Medical Center/Emergency Department, and the outpatient center on Saybrook Road in Middletown.
- No more than two visitors at one time.
- Visitors must be immediate family or a designated support person.
- No visitors under 18 years of age, except for special cases
If you have flu-like symptoms, you may not visit patients. Flu like symptoms include:
- body aches
