Shana Proulx, BSN, RN

Bio

Shana Proulx, BSN, RN, CHPN is a Nurse Navigator at the Middlesex Health Cancer Center. She cares for patients with head & neck and gastrointestinal cancers, including anal, colorectal, gastric, gallbladder, liver and pancreatic cancer.

Shana is a dual-certified nurse with a wide range of experience. She holds a certification in medical/surgical nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, as well as a certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. Shana earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from St. Joseph's College.

Before joining the Middlesex Health Cancer Center team in 2019, Shana worked for ten years as an acute care hospice and palliative care nurse on the inpatient Comfort Care Unit at Middlesex Hospital. She also has five years of trauma nursing experience.

Shana is currently pursuing additional certification in oncology nursing.
