Middlesex Health to Host Blood Drive
MIDDLETOWN — Nationally, there is an increased need for blood donations. To help, Middlesex Health will host a blood drive on its Middlesex Hospital campus in Middletown on October 14, October 15, October 21 and October 22.
The blood drive will be conducted by the Connecticut Blood Center, which is operated by the Rhode Island Blood Center. The Rhode Island Blood Center has provided blood to Middlesex Health since 2016.
Those interested in donating blood will do so in a mobile unit located in the parking lot associated with the Middlesex Health medical office buildings at 80 South Main Street and 90 South Main Street. Blood can be donated on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays.
Anyone wishing to donate blood during this blood drive should make an appointment. To make an appointment, visit ribc.org/drives and enter the sponsor code “C003.”
