Middlesex to Hold The Sacred Art of Grieving
On September 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Lisa Irish will speak about the journey of grief and her new book, "Grieving — The Sacred Art: Hope in the Land of Loss." The event will especially help those who have experienced a recent loss, and Irish will offer tangible ways to navigate loss and continue on the path toward healing.
Irish is the bereavement coordinator for Yale-New Haven Hospital, and she has ministered to many grieving individuals, groups and community organizations.
This event, which will be held at the Middlesex Hospital Outpatient Center at 534 Saybrook Road in Middletown, is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, contact Sherry Russenberger at 860-358-6091 or sherry.russenberger@midhosp.org. You can also contact Doreen Gagnon at 860-358-2053 or doreen.gagnon@midhosp.org.
