Zahn Community Gallery to Hold “Take a Breath” Local Vision V Exhibit
On March 12, the Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery will hold a reception for its Local Vision V exhibit, “Take a Breath.” This group exhibition will feature artists from Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Jan Ayer curates the exhibit. Jurors include Eric Dillner, chief executive officer of Shoreline Arts Alliance; Kimberly Monson, of the Lyme Art Academy; and Nancy Pinney, owner of Chester Gallery.
The March 12 reception, sponsored by Guilford Savings Bank, will include wine and hors d’oeuvres. It is free and open to the public. The reception will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Zahn Gallery is located at Middlesex Health Shoreline Medical Center, 250 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook. The exhibit will be on display March 2 through May 15 during regular business hours. All proceeds from sales go directly to the artists.
