Zahn Gallery Accepting Submissions for “Take a Breath” Exhibit

WESTBROOK — The Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery is now accepting submissions for its Local Vision V exhibit. The theme is “Take a Breath” and work of any medium will be accepted.

Artists may only submit one image. Works should be no larger than 24 inches by 36 inches, and the price point should be less than $2,000. Freestanding sculpture will not be accepted.

All submissions must be received by January 31, 2020. Selection notices will be emailed on February 7, 2020. Selected works, which must be dropped off in person between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on February 25, 2020, should be matted and framed at a quality gallery level, ready to hang and labeled with the artist’s name, title, medium and price. Artists will receive 100 percent of the sales.

The Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery is located at the Middlesex Health Shoreline Medical Center, 250 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook. The Local Vision V exhibit will be on display March 5, 2020 through May 15, 2020 during regular business hours. A reception will take place on March 12, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
