Quit smoking: Try stop-smoking products
Don't be afraid to use stop-smoking products to help you quit. Stop-smoking products are a legitimate way to handle withdrawal symptoms and tobacco cravings. Several types of nicotine-replacement products are available. Nicotine patches, gum and lozenges, are available over-the-counter. Nicotine nasal spray and the nicotine inhaler are available by prescription. In addition, two quit-smoking medications that don't contain nicotine are available by prescription. Talk to your health care provider about which stop-smoking products may be right for you.
Have questions about sex? Ask your doctor
Your health has a big impact on your sex life and vice versa. Don't be embarrassed about discussing sex with your doctor. Your doctor can be a reliable source of information on sexual health. He or she can help you manage chronic conditions and medications that affect your sex life. Your doctor can help you understand how sexual activity may change throughout your life.
Don't let your tots burn
When you head outside for family fun this summer, be sure to protect small children from burns. Keep sunblock handy and protect against other burn hazards: 1. Keep little ones away from grills, fire pits and campfires. 2. Don't let children play with or near fireworks or sparklers. 3. Check children's car seats for hot straps or buckles. These can heat up quickly in a car parked in direct sunlight.
