Work by Clinton Art Society to be on Display at Zahn Community Gallery
On September 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Valentine H. Zahn Community Gallery will hold a reception for its new exhibit, which features the work of members of the Clinton Art Society. The reception is free and open to the public.
The gallery is located at the Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center, 250 Flat Rock Place in Westbrook. The exhibit will be on display September 7 through October 29 during regular business hours
The Clinton Art Society was established in 1949 by a small group of professional artists dedicated to the growth of the arts on the Connecticut shoreline. The society has become a vibrant influence on the arts in Connecticut, and its members represent towns throughout the state and New England. The artists work in all fine art media and represent styles from traditional to abstract.
