- Better understand the child’s perspective during this process
- Increase your empathetic response to the child(ren) in your care
- Identify the need behind the behavior
- Balance being a: “Bigger, Stronger, Wiser and Kinder” caregiver
- Identify the child’s needs “hidden in plain sight”
