Volunteer Options

Middlesex Health's Volunteer Program is on hold at this time to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.  We are accepting NO applications until further notice.

Volunteers play an important role at One MacDonough Place and are valued members of our team. Seven days a week you can see volunteers running a bingo game, delivering communion, hosting non-denominational religious gatherings, writing and reading poetry & books, accompanying residents on trips, baking-just to name a few of the things they do.

One MacDonough Place has a formal relationship with the social services department at Middlesex Community College. Each semester we host students eager to learn in a supportive giving environment. In fact, fifteen years later we still have volunteers with us who started out as interns.

To find out more about becoming a One MacDonough volunteer please contact Katelin Cummings at 860-358-5811 or email katelin.cummings@midhosp.org.

All volunteers go through the application process at Middlesex Hospital where they have the opportunity to interact with hundreds of volunteers through educational seminars, orientations, and volunteer dinners and awards programs.
