David E. Walker, MD

David E. Walker, MD is a family medicine physician based in Lyme, CT.

Dr. Walker is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in the Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program after earning his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine.

After many years as a primary care physician at Middlesex Health, Dr. Walker opened a private practice in Hadlyme. He offers health care consultation services using a "slow medicine" approach. "Slow medicine" places emphasis on active listening, a deep understanding of what is going on in the body, and recognizing that healing often happens over time, especially with chronic illness or symptoms that have been present for a long time. Dr. Walker's services include medication review and management, tick-borne illness (Lyme disease) consultations, help understanding confusing symptoms, and meditative practice for patients with anxiety.
