Janine Fonfara, DBH, LCSW

Janie is a behavioral health clinician with Middlesex Health Integrative Medicine.

 

Janie has a deep connection to Middletown. She graduated from Mercy High in 1985 and earned her undergraduate degree in social work and psychology from the university of saint Joesph in 1989. 

 

She immediately began working in the field with Gilead. While working toward her Master's degree in social work from the University of Connecticut. she passed the Ct licensure exam in 1999 to become an LCSW. 

 

Over the next 25 years, Janine worked for Community Mental Health organizations, large and small hospitals, and counseling centers throughout Connecticut in new jersey. Then, she returned to school in her 40's to earn her Doctorate of Behavioral Health (DBH). 

 

Janine believes mental and emotional well-being are necessary for every other area of life to flow smoothly. So she is happy to be back in Middletown to work in the field she has dedicated her life to.
