Bio

Melissa Salonia, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Middlesex Health Urgent Care.  Melissa is the lead advanced practice provider and has been part of the Middlesex Family since 2015. She completed her undergraduate degree with honors in biology and her graduate degree of Health Science/Physician Assistant studies from Quinnipiac University. She has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of PAs since 2010. Prior to her transition to urgent care, she served as a PA in the emergency department. She maintains association as a fellow with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, art, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
