Michael Crain, MD is a fellowship-trained radiologist at Radiologic Associates of Middletown (RAM) and Middlesex Health.
Dr. Crain is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. He completed his fellowship on Cross-Sectional Imaging at the George Washington University Medical Center, where he also performed his residency. Dr. Crain completed his internship at the Jersey Shore Medical Center and earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to attending medical school, he spent a year as a Research Assistant in the Neuroscience Department of Children's Hospital Medical Center at Harvard University.
Dr. Crain serves as the President and CEO of RAM, as well as the Chair of the Department of Radiology at Middlesex Health. He was instrumental in founding the lung cancer screening program at Middlesex and continues to advocate for early detection of lung cancer, especially amongst veterans. Dr. Crain is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
