Bio

Njeri K. Thande, MD is a fellowship-trained cardiologist with Hartford HealthCare and Middlesex Health. Dr. Thande is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease. She completed her fellowship with the University of Michigan Health System and her residency with New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Thande earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Thande believes in a holistic approach to health, addressing psychological, social, and structural obstacles. Although pharmacology is important and often unavoidable, Dr. Thande emphasizes lifestyle choices such as stress relief, diet, and movement.
