Appetite for Life to Benefit Middlesex Health Cancer Center

Press Release, May 31, 2022

MIDDLETOWN — This year, there’s a new way you can participate in Appetite for Life, an annual fundraiser that has raised money for Middlesex Health Cancer Center for more than a decade: buy a raffle ticket!

Enter the Appetite for Life restaurant raffle called Meals That Heal, and you could win gift cards from 35 local restaurants. In total, $5,000 in prizes will be awarded.

The drawing will take place June 30 at 2 p.m., and all winners will be notified. Tickets are $20, and only 1,000 tickets are available. They can be purchased at MiddlesexHealth.org/AppetiteForLife.

In addition, you can support Middlesex Health Cancer Center by attending the third annual Middlesex Got Talent, an event that features Middlesex Health employees. This year’s talent show will be held in person on June 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chicago Sam’s in Cromwell. WFSB’s Caitlin Francis will be the host.

Tickets to the show are $25 if they are purchased in advance. If they are purchased on the day of the show, they are $30. Heavy hor d’oeuvres are included with your ticket. There will also be a cash bar and raffle prices.

To purchase a ticket to Middlesex Got Talent, visit MiddlesexHealth.org/AppetiteForLife.

“Appetite for Life has raised more than $200,000 over the years to support local cancer patients,” says Sarah Moore, director of development for Middlesex Health. “We are very grateful for this outpouring of community support, and we will continue to raise money to help those battling cancer. Buy a raffle ticket, come support Middlesex Health’s talented employees and make a difference!”
