Medical Assistant Training Program

Do you like to help others? Is serving your community important to you? Have you ever considered becoming a medical assistant?

Nimma

Middlesex Health has partnered with a new national nonprofit called the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA) to train future medical assistants.

NIMAA is an innovative program that is designed to fit into your busy schedule. The program combines flexible online learning with hands-on in-clinic experience at Middlesex Health. As a result, graduates are prepared to perform on day one in high-performing, team-based clinics. Best of all, the program takes only 29 weeks to complete and costs less than $7,000.

Ninety-six percent of participants graduate and are prepared to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam to receive their CCMA (certified clinical medical assistant) credential.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of medical assistants is projected to increase 23 percent faster than average growth for all jobs. Therefore, this program is a great way to train for a promising career in health care.

We welcome questions about this program and our participation in it. Please direct any questions to nimaa@midhosp.org or info@nimaa.org.
