Emergency Care During the COVID-19 Pandemic
If you or a loved one needs emergency care, please know that it is safe to call 911 or come to a Middlesex Health Emergency Department location.
Even during a pandemic, it is important that you get the care you need. We understand that it is anxiety-provoking to come to a medical facility during the COVID-19 pandemic, but our staff is going above and beyond even our usual commitment to safety and cleanliness. For example:
- All of our Emergency Department waiting rooms are separated into two areas: one for patients with possible COVID-19, and one for patients with other concerns.
- All patients at Middlesex Health facilities are required to wear masks, unless it is not possible for medical reasons. // More About Masks for You & Your Family
- All staff must follow strict safety rules, including wearing masks at all times and having their temperature checked daily when arriving to work.
