Important Information

We recently learned of a scam that impacted some members of our community.

Scammers accessed IT infrastructure that belongs to a company that is not affiliated with Middlesex in any way. The scammers then sent out phishing emails to various individuals, pretending to represent Middlesex Health. These emails asked individuals to pay outstanding invoices.

We want you to know that this email did not come from us. We have no relationship with those involved and do not send out any invoices via email. If you receive an invoice from Middlesex Health, it will be a paper invoice mailed to your home.

When we learned of this scam, we immediately notified the company that was hacked, and we've been working closely with them. The problem has been resolved.

It is important to us that you understand that we take your privacy and security very seriously. We never give your personal or contact information to anyone without your permission—for any reason.

We also want to take this moment to remind you to be careful when reading and responding to emails. Always be sure to check who sent you an email, be cautious when sharing any personal information via email or on the Internet, and do not open attachments if you question an email's validity. If an email doesn't look right, don't open it!
