Survivorship care focuses on quality of life and practicing a healthy lifestyle during the transition out of active treatment. Our program provides access to the best of both traditional and complementary therapies that promote wellness for the body, mind, and spirit.
Your Survivorship Care Plan may include Integrative Medicine modalities, nutritional counseling, distress management, physical rehabilitation, and other methods for enhancing your quality of life.
The Survivorship Program is available to any Middlesex Health patient finishing the active phase of cancer treatment. This time - marked by the end of surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation - can be both a relief and a challenge. Many patients feel uncertain or anxious about next steps.
Our team is here to guide you as your focus shifts to recovery from treatment and getting back to the activities you love.
