Mark D. Lorenze, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Connecticut Orthopedics and Middlesex Health.
Dr. Lorenze is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at Tufts Medical Center after performing his residency at Yale-New Haven Health. Dr. Lorenze earned his medical degree at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lorezne specializes in hand surgery and has a special interest in care of the hand, arm and shoulder. He performs a number of advanced procedures, including arthroscopic upper extremity surgery, arthroscopic ganglion cyst excision and endoscopic carpal tunnel release. In addition, Dr. Lorenze treats work-related injuries and cumulative trauma, or repetitive stress, injuries.
In addition to his active clinical practice, Dr. Lorenze serves as the chair of the Department of Surgery at Middlesex Health.
