Meet Our Nurse Navigator
When you learn that you need orthopedic or joint replacement surgery, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the complex details of your surgery, personal concerns, and general anxiety.
At Middlesex Health, our orthopedic Nurse Navigator is there every step of the way, beginning several weeks before your surgery and extending months after your surgery to ensure all of your questions are answered and any concerns are addressed.
Fernanda Goncalves, BSN, RN
Fernanda earned her nursing degree from the University of Saint Joseph after earning her undergraduate degree from The University of Connecticut. In 2020, Fernanda earned The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses. She was drawn to pursuing a career in nursing after volunteering at a rural hospital in South America.
