Matthew C. Desir, MD

Bio

Matthew C. Desir, MD is a family medicine physician with Middlesex Health Family Medicine - Middletown and a faculty member of the Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Desir is certified American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his residency at Tufts University after earning his medical degree from Howard University.

After his residency at Tufts, Dr. Desir continued at Cambridge Health Alliance, where he worked closely with residents and medical students in addition to daily patient care. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP).

When he is not in the office, Dr. Desir can be found spending time with his wife and two children or playing basketball, running, or biking.

Middlesex Health treats patients in their emergency departments regardless of their ability to pay.
