Otto Weis, MD is a family medicine physician at Middlesex Health Family Medicine - Portland.

Training & Expertise

Dr. Weis is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in family medicine, hospice and palliative medicine and geriatric medicine. He completed his residency at the Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program after earning his medical degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University. 

In addition to providing primary care for adults, Dr. Weis specializes in older adult care and end of life care. He also has a special interest in school health and serves as a medical advisor for the school system in Portland.

Dr. Weis is Associate Director of the Middlesex Health Family Medicine Residency Program and Clinical Director of the Portland office of Middlesex Hospital Family Medicine. He is an assistant professor at multiple medical schools in Connecticut.

Dr. Weis has been recognized as a Connecticut Magazine "Top Doc."

Outside of his practice, Dr. Weis enjoys spending time with his family and being involved with community groups in his hometown.
