Jessica Poetzsch, MSN, RN-BC

Bio

Jessica is the Lung Cancer Nurse Navigator and Total Lung Care Center Coordinator at the Middlesex Health Cancer Center. Jessica cares for patients with lung cancers as well as patients with suspicious lung findings. Through her work with the Middlesex Health High Risk Lung Clinic, she helps to manage the timely diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer patients in our community.

Jessica graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 2008. She earned her ANCC certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing in 2011. Prior to joining the Cancer Center team in 2017, she had 10 years of acute care surgical nursing experience at Middlesex Health. Jessica went on to earn her Master of Science (MSN) degree in Nursing Management and Executive Leadership from Sacred Heart University in 2018. She is currently continuing her education working towards becoming an Oncology Certified Nurse.
