Kertrisa McWhite, MD is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon at the Middlesex Health Surgical Alliance and the Comprehensive Breast Center.
Education & Training
Dr. McWhite is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She completed her fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her residency at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. McWhite earned her medical degree at the Drexel University College of Medicine.
Expertise
Dr. McWhite specializes in intraoperative tumor localization using ultrasound and radiofrequency devices. She also has experience with the placement of radiation brachytherapy devices. Dr. McWhite comes to Middlesex Health having been in a leadership role as Breast Center Director at Atlantic General Hospital.

Dr. McWhite believes that it is crucial for both physical and emotional health that patients partner with their physicians to make educated decisions. Every cancer is different, and every patient is different. Therefore, every patient's treatment plan should be tailored with compassion and understanding to their specific needs.

Dr. McWhite is a proponent for an individualized, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care and enjoys being a community advocate for breast screenings. Outside of her practice, Dr. McWhite enjoys science fiction, antiques, and pop culture collectibles, as well as traveling and camping with her children.
