The first step in our weight loss program is to attend our New Patient Information Seminar. To keep our community safe during the COVID-19 emergency, we are not offering seminars in person. However, you can watch Dr. Jonathan Aranow's seminar online.

After the Seminar

If you join us as a patient, we will ask you to answer a few questions about Dr. Aranow's seminar. This helps us make sure that you have all of the information you need to move forward with the weight loss program.

For more information about becoming a patient and moving forward with the weight loss program, please contact our team by sending us a message to request more information or calling 860-358-2970.

At Middlesex, we take a a comprehensive approach to weight management, and this often includes making changes to your diet. Before surgery, all patients attend an informational session with our dietitians, who will support you in understanding your relationship with food and help you develop strategies to reach and maintain your pre-op and post-op weight loss.

Meet Our Dietitians

Our team of experienced dietitians are here to support you in the medical weight loss process, as well as before and after bariatric surgery.

At Middlesex, we understand that achieving weight loss goals is more than just a physical process. Before surgery, all patients have a psychological consultation with a Middlesex Health psychologist, who will help identify any mental or behavioral health concerns, such as eating disorders or substance abuse, that could impact the success of your bariatric surgery.
