Self-care options include over-the-counter antiperspirants and deodorants and regular bathing with antibacterial soap. Avoidance of spicy foods and caffeinated beverages may help.
When to make a doctor's appointment
See a doctor if:
- Change in sweating pattern, including excessive perspiration or little or no perspiration
- Changes in body odor
- Disruption of daily routine
- Unexplained night sweats
