Brugada syndrome

Brugada syndrome is a potentially life-threatening heart rhythm disorder. It's sometimes inherited and is more common in men.

Symptoms may include fainting, irregular heartbeats, or an extremely fast and chaotic heartbeat.

The main treatment is an implantable device to control heart rhythm. Medications may be used.
