Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder

Overview

Charcot-Marie-Tooth is a degenerative nerve disease that usually appears in adolescence or early adulthood.

Symptoms

Muscle weakness, decreased muscle size, decreased sensation, hammertoes, and high arches are symptoms.

Treatments

The main treatments are physical therapy and occupational therapy. Medications may reduce pain.
