Dairy allergy

Overview

Dairy allergy is an abnormal immune system response to milk and milk products. Cow, sheep, and goat milk can cause a reaction. Soy milk can, too. The allergy is common in children.

Symptoms

Symptoms include wheezing, vomiting, hives, and digestive problems.

Treatments

The main treatment is to avoid milk and milk products.
