Diastolic heart failure


Diastolic heart failure is a condition in which the heart's left ventricle can't relax or fill fully. The left ventricle is the heart's main pumping chamber.


Symptoms might include shortness of breath, leg swelling, and fatigue.


Treatments include medications.
