Overview

Drug withdrawal involves the physical and mental symptoms that occur after stopping or reducing intake of a drug.

Symptoms

p>Signs and symptoms depend on the drug being discontinued. They may include anxiety, fatigue, sweating, vomiting, depression, seizures, and hallucinations.

Treatments

Treatment includes supportive care and medications to address symptoms.
