Self-care
Self-care for dry skin includes thick over-the-counter moisturizers and humidified air. Avoiding alcohol, caffeine, and tobacco may relieve dry mouth and dry skin.
When to make a doctor's appointment
See a doctor if:
- Red, irritated, tired, or painful eyes
- Dry mouth or thick saliva
- Dry skin doesn't improve with self-care
- Vaginal dryness affects activities
