Influenza

Overview

Flu (influenza) attacks the lungs, nose, and throat. Influenza can be deadly to high-risk people, including children and older adults.

Symptoms

Symptoms include fever, muscle aches, cough, congestion, and fatigue.

Treatments

Treatment involves rest, fluids, and sometimes antiviral medication. Seasonal flu vaccinations help prevent infection.
